Oman Air and Gulf Air sign new codeshare agreement

Oman Air, the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, recently launched a new codeshare agreement with Gulf Air, the Kingdom of Bahrain’s national carrier, which sees the airlines’ combined frequencies between Bahrain and Muscat at six daily flights, a statement said on Friday.

The deal will provide customers enhanced flight connectivity options to various destinations across the two carriers’ networks. The deal will allow passengers to connect through the two airlines to different destinations, with Oman Air currently serving around 55 destinations, and Gulf Air serving 42 cities across three continents.

Abdulrahman Al Busaidy, Deputy CEO and Chief Commercial Officer, of Oman Air commented: “Oman Air is very happy with this codeshare agreement with Gulf Air, which is a strategic and important partner for Oman Air. Through this codeshare, Oman Air offers its guests a combined frequency of six daily flights.
