AirTran Airways adds three new nonstop routes to Orlando

AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc., announced today that it will expand its service to Orlando International Airport with new nonstop flights from Atlantic City International Airport in Atlantic City, New Jersey; Asheville Regional Airport in Asheville, North Carolina; and McGhee-Tyson Airport in Knoxville, Tennessee.

New nonstop flights to Asheville, North Caroline, will begin June 11, 2009, and new nonstop flights to Knoxville, Tennessee and Atlantic City, New Jersey will begin June 12, 2009.

“Travelers looking to escape colder climates for warm, sunny weather will be happy to know that AirTran can get them there on nonstop flights with the lowest fares around,” said Kevin Healy, senior vice president of marketing and planning for AirTran Airways. “AirTran Airways is proud to expand in Orlando, our hometown, with these new flights and destinations.”
