Many people in the tourism industry are looking to the young wizard with hope.

Many people in the tourism industry are looking to the young wizard with hope.

The attraction, which Universal says will be a theme park within a theme park, is just about complete at the Islands of Adventure.

Paul Daurio is the attraction’s producer.

“What you can expect, and I’m hoping we can deliver, is the most authentic Harry Potter experience fans can imagine,” said Daurio.

Universal hopes to cash in on fans of the popular movies based on the series of books by J.K. Rowling.

Daurio says the park is working with Warner Brothers and Rowling to make the experience as genuine as possible.

Harry Potter is expected to give tourism in the area a real boost. A lot of individuals in the tourism industry are waiting for the grand open.

Elena Turano owns Magic Vacation Marketing and she cant wait. She believes in Harry’s magic and that it will bring more people to Orlando.

Universal Studios-Orlando opens the New Harry Potter themed attraction June 18th 2010 however, they did offer packages to vist the attraction as soon as May 28th but WDBO has learned those have already sold out. Fear not though Universal is offering grand opening packages starting as low as $285 per adult for a 4-day vacation.

Potter isn’t only stirring up excitement here but world wide as well. Virgin Atlantic Airways in London have premiered a plane with the logo for the attraction on its side.

Visitors will step right into a real Harry Potter experience. They will be able to visit places like Hogwarts and the Three Broom Stick where they can sip on Butterbeer or pumpkin juice. All this plus the rides makes it an attraction no true Harry Potter fan would want to miss out on.
