Seychelles’ hotel rated highly by German guests, Le Duc de Praslin receives HolidayCheck Award

Le Duc de Praslin Hotel & Villas, located at Cote d’Or on the Seychelles’ second most populated island must be doing something right to impress German visitors.

For the fourth consecutive year, Le Duc de Praslin has been rated highly by HolidayCheck — the largest German-speaking portal allowing Germain visitors to review their travel and holidays experiences.

HotelCheck Awards are given to establishments scoring highly based on excellent reviews received from visitors.

Le Duc de Praslin Hotel & Villas was awarded a grade of 5.6/6 for 2017.

The owner and General Manager of the hotel Mr. Robert Payet said constant effort to improve services and standards is essential to keep up with clients’ growing expectations.

He added that the hotel’s German-speaking markets have grown significantly thanks to its marketing drive in Switzerland, Austria and Germany that has been intensified over the last 3 years

Germany is in fact the top tourism market for Seychelles so far in 2017, having sent 27,078 visitors to the island nation up to July 30th, representing a 33 percent increase over last year’s figures.

Le Duc de Praslin boasts 43 rooms and villas that cater specifically for honeymooners, families and couples in search of an authentic, genuine Seychellois hospitality.

The Seychellois-owned hotel also offers 3 dining outlets and 3 bars, including ‘Café des Arts’ which provides guests with a seafood fine dining experience, and the main restaurant ‘Le Dauphin’ which proposes Creole Fusion cuisine. The Tapas lounge bar is the latest addition offering tapas meals from around the world and is a popular entertainment spot on Praslin.

Le Duc de Praslin which boasts a complement of local staff has won a number of other accolades over the years, including the Tripadvisor’s ‘Hall of Fame Award for Excellence’ and the Agoda Gold Circle Award.
