Hong Kong Airlines names “Best HK Professional Services Brand” again
At the fourth “Enterprising Hong Kong Brand Awards”, Hong Kong Airlines was awarded as the “Best HK Professional Services Brand” two years in a row. Mr. Stanley Kan, Director of Service Delivery of Hong Kong Airlines attended the ceremony and received the honour on behalf of the Company.
Stanley said, “Hong Kong Airlines has been speeding up its pace for network expansion to international destinations since last year, with the launch of two long haul flight services to Gold Coast/Cairns, Australia, and Auckland of New Zealand respectively. This year, we made our inaugural daily direct service to Vancouver, Canada on 30 June, which marked our route expansion to the North America. We will be having our next new route service to Los Angeles of the continental United States of America later this year. All these make it possible for more passengers from different countries to travel with Hong Kong Airlines and enjoy the professional airline services that we are proud of.”

This year, Hong Kong Airlines achieved the Gold Certificate in the Fast Travel Program by International Air Transport Association, becoming the first Hong Kong-based carrier as well as one of the current three Asia’s airlines to receive this honour. In addition, besides the Skytrax 4-star rating that the Company has been honoured since 2011, at the 2017 World Airline Awards, it won second place in the category of “World’s Best Regional Airlines”, being the best-performing Hong Kong local airline. It is also the only local airline that made progress in global ranking (from No. 29 to No. 24) this year.
The Enterprising Hong Kong Brand Awards is voted by a judging panel including South China Morning Post editorial team and a group of reputable professionals to honour those Hong Kong enterprises who have demonstrated creativeness in brand building to overachieve business results in the past year.
