Expo 2017 caravan arrives in the capital of Great Britain

The large-scale roadshow of the International Specialized Exhibition Astana EXPO 2017 “Future Energy”, launched in European countries on February 28, introduce Kazakhstan and one of the key global events of 2017.

After presentations in Spain, Italy, Switzerland and France the mobile pavilion of the Astana EXPO 2017 “Future Energy” exhibition continues its fascinating journey across Europe by a stop in the British capital.

In the heart of London, at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre (Broad Sanctuary, Westminster, London SW1P 3EE), the mobile pavilion will remain for four days, through April 16, and then it will move to Amsterdam, where it will be presented between April 23 and 25.

“EXPO 2017 will become one of the most important international events in the history of Kazakhstan. The participating countries will present their latest developments in the field of green energy. EXPO 2017 will transform Astana into one of the energy and cultural capitals of the world. Major international political and economic events are planned as part of the exhibition. These include the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit and the Summit on Science and Technologies of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, national days of participating countries and various ministerial forums – more than 3,000 thematic cultural and sports events,” said Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the United Kingdom Erlan Idrissov.

The objective of the large-scale EXPO 2017 tour is to introduce Kazakhstan, Astana and the forthcoming global event to European citizens and tourists. The variety of interactive entertainments awaits visitors to the mobile pavilion: the Alternative Energy Zone, Virtual Reality Zone, Interactive Map of Kazakhstan, cinema, 3D Printer, Children’s Creativity Zone, electric bikes and many other things. Tickets for Astana EXPO 2017 are available for purchase at the mobile pavilion.

Entry to the EXPO 2017 mobile pavilion is free. All the audiovisual materials are provided in English.
The EXPO 2017 roadshow route includes stops in the following European cities: Vienna (May 1-3), Prague (May 8-10), Berlin (May 15-17), Warsaw (May 22-24), Vilnius (May 29-31), Helsinki (June 6-8).
