The ground-breaking ceremony for an Airbus training complex took place on March 17 in the presence of Airbus top brass and Indian Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju.

This is a major development in the aviation sector. Airbus announced its plans to build its first training center in Asia, which will be located in New Delhi, India, in the Aerocity.

The center, in modular form, will be ready by end of next year. More investment by Airbus is expected in the sector of pilot and other training.

India has a big potential for trained personnel, and the Airbus venture will contribute to filling this employment gap.
