According to a new study by the American Society of Travel Agents, Orlando, Fla., is No. 1 and Las Vegas is No. 2. Those two cities have been the top two destinations for the past eight years.
Last year, Seattle wasn’t in the list of top 10 summer destinations but returned this year, knocking Chicago off the list. The rest of the top destination list is: No. 3, San Francisco; No. 4, Miami; No. 5, Los Angeles; No. 6, New York City; No. 7, San Diego; No. 8, Honolulu; No. 9, Seattle; and No. 10, Washington, D.C.
“Although the top destinations have remained relatively unchanged for many years, it’s interesting to see some fresh destinations … appear on the scene,” said Chris Russo, ASTA president and chair, in a statement.
