Air France launches service to Oran, Algeria

PARIS, France – From 27 July 2016, Air France will be offering its customers a new service between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Oran in Algeria.

PARIS, France – From 27 July 2016, Air France will be offering its customers a new service between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Oran in Algeria. Three weekly flights will connect the two cities, by Airbus A320, which seats 174 passengers, departing on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.


On board the Airbus A320, customers will enjoy the very latest medium-haul cabin classes. Leather-upholstered seats throughout offer a new standard for travel in both Business Class and Economy Class. The entire cabin, with its harmonious and elegant design, offers passengers optimum travel comfort, ideal for working, resting, or enjoying refreshments before arriving at the destination.

In addition, on departure from Oran, Air Franceโ€™s customers will benefit from optimised onward connections to Air Franceโ€™s entire medium- and long-haul network from its hub at Paris-Charles de Gaulle.

Oran, the Radiant City

A historic quarter combining Islamic, Spanish and French architecture, the memory of the writer Albert Camus, a local figure, but also a city with dynamic industry and the countryโ€™s chief oil port. Bordered to the north by the Mediterranean Sea and to the west by the impressive Pic dโ€™Aidour, Oran is the second largest city in Algeria.

Thanks to this new service, this summer the Group will be offering up to 34 weekly flights, four routes and two destinations in Algeria with its airlines Air France and Transavia:

โ€ข 3 weekly flights from Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Oran, operated by Air France;

โ€ข 27 weekly flights from Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Algiers, operated by Air France;



โ€ข 2 weekly flights from Lyon to Algiers, operated by Transavia;

โ€ข 2 weekly flights from Nantes to Algiers*, operated by Transavia.
