It was a victory for passionate surfers on Reunion Island last weekend where friends of the ocean sports gathered in large numbers.

Everybody across the island talked about it, and the images went around the world and documented the intensity of the event, the immense emotion, and the delight of surfers on Reunion Island, to once more enjoy their sport in the warm turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean.

To watch again and again: Jeremy Flores, sponsor and sponsor of the event, French number 1 and 8th in the world in this discipline; competitions for young people; a human chain of 120 competitors; 300 surfers; and followers of water skiing held on fabulous Reunion Island.

The beaches were lined by miles of smiles from spectators in the thousands, many of them cheering the competitors and their favorites by name before celebrating Milo Lauthier, winner in bodyboarding, and Louka Delgrange, winner in the surf category.

These two left with new boards offered by Jeremy Flores for the winners.

The next Reunion Island surfing competition will be held on March 5 and 6 by the Reunion Surfing League.
