BRUSSELS, Belgium – The EU interior ministers have agreed on a plan to share airline passenger information in a bid to track potential extremists and prevent a repetition of the deadly Paris attacks, EU commissioner for migration, home affairs and citizenship Dimitris Avramopoulos said Friday.
Under the so-called Passenger Name Record deal, EU law enforcement agencies will be able to gain access to the names, travel dates, itinerary, credit card details and contact details gathered by airlines.
