HONG KONG – Organised by the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) and title-sponsored by China Construction Bank (Asia), the four-day CCB (Asia) Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival kicked off today (22 October) at the Central Harbourfront Event Space. This yearโs festival is the biggest ever by far, presenting wines from 23 countries and regions and other alcoholic drinks, as well as an elevated food experience.
The opening ceremony of the CCB (Asia) Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival, held this evening, was performed by Mr John Tsang, Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region; Mr Gregory So, Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development; Mr Philip Yung, Permanent Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development (Commerce, Industry and Tourism); Dr Peter Lam, Chairman of the HKTB; Mr Pierre Goguet, President of the Bordeaux Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and representative of the Bordeaux International Wine & Dine Festival Organization, the eventโs co-organiser; Mr Stephan Delaux, Deputy Mayor of Bordeaux; Mr Bernard Farges, President of the Bordeaux Wine Council; and Mr Mao Yu-min, Chief Executive Officer of China Construction Bank (Asia), the eventโs title sponsor.
The CCB (Asia) Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival opens to the public at 8pm today. Highlights of this yearโs event include:

– This yearโs festival features nearly 350 wine and food booths, the largest number in the eventโs history and 30% more than last year.
๏ The broadest selection of wine and liquor yet
– Wine from 23 countries and regions are presented, the most in the festivalโs history.
– Whisky and craft beer are introduced for the first time.
– Sommeliers provide professional recommendations to patrons in the Wine Expert Zone.
