PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad – Caribbean Airlines was recognized as the “Caribbean’s Leading Airline” on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at the 22nd Annual World Travel Caribbean & North America Gala Ceremony in the Bahamas. A release from the airline indicated that this was its fifth consecutive time winning the award.

Commenting after receive the award, Michael DiLollo, Chief Executive Officer reaffirmed the airline’s commitment to providing improved connectivity, and quality service to each of its passengers, following a very successful summer performance. In this vein, Caribbean Airlines has re-designed its schedule to facilitate improved connectivity within the Caribbean and between North and South America, including increasing the number of flights to the Bahamas. DiLollo also mentioned that the airline would be upgrading to the new Amadeus Passenger Service System in the coming weeks.

The World Travel Awards was founded in 1993 in order to recognize and celebrate the sterling contribution that stakeholders make towards advancing the tourism industry.
