Hawaii: Tropical Storm Hilda continues to weaken

HONOLULU, Hawaii – Hilda was downgraded to a tropical storm yesterday and is forecast to weaken into a tropical depression by Thursday.

HONOLULU, Hawaii – Hilda was downgraded to a tropical storm yesterday and is forecast to weaken into a tropical depression by Thursday.

A tropical storm watch, flash flood watch and high surf warning remain in effect for Hawaii Island, as heavy rainfall, strong trades and high surf along east-facing shores are expected.

Neighboring islands are expected to experience similar weather conditions through the end of the week.
