New online link in Urdu launched in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan – ISLAMABAD, Pakistan – An Urdu digital link has been launched from Islamabad today to provide views, opinions, and news in the Urdu language. The International Pakistani Journalist Organization (IPJO) strongly appreciates the initiative of the Dispatch News Desk (DND) news agency – for which eTurboNews has a media partnership with – to provide news to journalists and readers from Europe, North America, and South Asia.

DND is an accredited and certified news agency by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, government of Pakistan, for distributing news in English, Russian, and Urdu languages. This news agency is also registered with the Ministry of Information Broadcasting and Heritage of the government of Pakistan.

In his message, the Chief Editor of Dispatch News Desk News Agency, Agha Iqrar Haroon, said that its Urdu publication would help Urdu readers to receive updates about South Asia, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia.

Dispatch News Desk was launched in year 2013 and is the only tri-lingual online publication from South Asia, providing news, articles, opinions, and comments in the Urdu, English, and Russian languages.

Its digital publication at dnd.com.pk provides news, articles, opinions, and comments in English and its digital publication at dispatchnewsdesk.co.uk in the Urdu language, targeting market around 1.5 billion people in South Asia who can read Urdu and English.

DND provides news updates written by a team of reporters, contributing editors, writers, guest analysts and correspondents, focused on television news, news generated by current affairs shows, events, company news, market trends, as well as political and legislative developments, with a focus on democracy, human rights, gender rights, transgender rights, terrorism, entertainment, food and global issues, among other topics.
