eTurboNews (eTN) announced it will support the Beijing International Tourism Expo (BITE) as a media partner. The event is scheduled to be held from June 26-28, 2015 at the China National Convention Centre in Beijing, China.

Said eTN publisher Juergen T. Steinmetz, “The Beijing International Tourism Expo is Asia’s leading annual travel and tourism event. eTN was involved in the original set-up of the Beijing outbound trade show, and we are proud to be part of this important and successful event. With our global subscriber base of 230,000 and the potential reach of 1.3 million, including 17,000 journalists, our publications, which are produced as soon as the news comes out, is the perfect media distribution network for BITE.”

This three-day mega tourism event will be the ideal venue for the international showcase of destinations, tourism attractions, travel packages, products and services. The event organizers are committed to presenting the highest quality of exhibitors, buyers, and visitors across the region, and the Beijing International Tourism Expo series packs in an enormous showcase of tourism destinations, attractions, and travel-related goods and services in the Chinese tourism market.

“BITE has attained a quality ranking in Asia, and is fast becoming an important and influential platform for tourism networking and business transactions, and as such, eTN is proud to be a media partner for the event,” Steinmetz added.

BITE was first organized in 2003, and by 2014 the China Outbound Tourism Development Report said that China remained the world’s largest outbound tourist market and the no. 1 country with the highest outbound tourism consumption. Last year, outbound tourists were estimated to be at 98.19 million – an increase of 18.0%. Outbound tourism consumption was at US$128.7 billion dollars – a 26.8 percent increase.

With ever-increasing numbers like these, 2015 BITE is going to be a huge success.
