The man was a tourist and had visited Abu Dhabi more than a month ago. After he traveled back to Duesseldorf, Germany, he was diagnosed with the deadly MERS virus more than month after he came back and then recovered. But now, he has suffered organ failure, as a late development of this deadly virus, and passed away today in the German city of Osnabrueck.

He becomes the first patient in Germany dying after suffering from MERS. Is MERS now spreading in Germany?

With a South Korean man in Slovakia being tested for the MERS virus, the deadly disease may now spread in Europe. Authorities have taken precautions, placing the patient in isolation in Bratislava.
