This new partnership will provide opportunities for both airlines to feed into domestic and international networks, as well as offer expanded opportunities and revenue sharing for extended codeshare to New Zealand.

Aircraft used will be the Boeing B777-300 for the flight, and will include Wi-fi.

Additionally, Qantas will restart direct Sydney-San Francisco flights 6 days a week from December on its Boeing 747.

Both airlines have been in partnership for 25 years, and both are founding members of one world.
