AJMAN, United Arab Emirates – At least four vehicles were badly damaged after the glass facades of a residential building collapsed in the Al Naiumyah area of Ajman.
Police received reports on Sunday morning of glass falling from a building and damage to four vehicles below, according to Colonel Nasser Rashid Al Ziri, Head of Media and Public Relation Department at Ajman Civil Defense.
Rescue teams from Ajman Civil Defense moved immediately to the scene and removed the remains of the glass from the building.
Police patrols secured the area before handing over to authorities to investigate the incident.
Colonel Al Ziri appealed to the owners of the buildings to check the quality of glass facades on their buildings.
