United launches nonstop Dublin-Chicago service

DUBLIN, Ireland – United Airlines today launched a nonstop service between Dublin and O’Hare International Airport in Chicago.

The flights will operate daily until August 18.

DUBLIN, Ireland – United Airlines today launched a nonstop service between Dublin and O’Hare International Airport in Chicago.

The flights will operate daily until August 18.

Chicago/O’Hare is the third United hub to be served nonstop from Dublin, after New York/Newark Liberty and Washington, D.C./Dulles.

“It’s exciting to add Chicago, United’s home town, to our route network from Dublin,” said Bob Schumacher, United’s Managing Director Sales – Ireland & U.K.

“This seasonal service complements our existing services from the Irish capital to New York and Washington, D.C., and offers our customers from Dublin not only a faster way to the Windy City, but even more travel options to destinations throughout the Americas.”

The Dublin-Chicago flight, UA153, departs Dublin daily at 9.50am, arriving in Chicago at 12.15pm the same day (all times local).

The return flight, UA152, departs Chicago daily at 6:05pm, arriving in Dublin at 7:35am the following day.

Flight times are eight hours 25 minutes westbound and seven hours 30 minutes eastbound.

United today also reintroduced its seasonal second daily nonstop service between Dublin and New York/Newark today.

The service will operate until September 24 (westbound).

The additional flight, UA131, departs Dublin daily at 12.55 pm, arriving at New York/Newark at 3.25pm the same day.

The return flight, UA130, departs New York/Newark daily at 10.10pm, arriving in Dublin at 10.00am the following day.

Flight times are seven hours 30 minutes westbound and six hours 50 minutes eastbound.

All the flights are operated by Boeing 757-200 aircraft with a total of 169 seats – 16 flat-bed seats in United BusinessFirst and 153 in United Economy, including 45 Economy Plus seats.
