Minister Alain St.Ange of the Seychelles used the recent UNWTO Haiti Conference to confirm his participation at the 21st General Assembly of the UNWTO to Minister Sandra Taylor of Colombia.

“Countries of the world who are serious in the consolidation of their tourism industry are all united under the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), and as Seychelles is an Executive Committee Member of the UNWTO, our presence at the coming General Assembly is a must,” said Minister Alain St.Ange of the Seychelles.

“The consolidation of the tourism industry will not happen by itself, Member States must work as united countries in the United Nations World Tourism Organization,” said Minister St.Ange at the Haiti Conference.

The Seychelles Minister said it was important to reaffirm to his Colombia counterpart that Seychelles remained a serious partner in the world of tourism and that the islands would be represented in the coming 21st General Assembly of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).
