A plane crashed near Nipawin in Saskatchewan, Canada. There were no injuries or deaths, because nobody was onboard, reported the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

The crash occurred at around 6:00 pm CST on Thursday, March 26, 2015, when an Aeronca Chief plane crash-landed at the Nipawin Airport.

The pilot of the two-seater aircraft successfully prop-started the airplane by standing in front of it and turning the propeller by hand. However, the plane began to move down the runway and was airborne before the pilot could jump in.

A short time later the aircraft crashed. There were no injuries, except for the pilotโ€™s bruised ego.
