Hyatt Hotels & Resorts announced today the official opening of Hyatt City of Dreams Manila.

Located three kilometers from Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Hyatt City of Dreams Manila is a five-minute drive from SM Mall of Asia and the SMX Convention Center, and a ten-minute drive from the World Trade Center and Philippine International Convention Center, making it an ideal base for both leisure and business travelers.

โ€œWe are delighted to bring this brand to the Asia Pacific region and be part of City of Dreams Manila. This hotel will be featuring an array of entertainment and attractions,โ€ said David Udell, group president, Asia Pacific, Hyatt. โ€œThe hotel will welcome guests from all over the world who are looking for a world-class experience with Hyattโ€™s authentic services in this business and leisure destination.โ€

Spread over two gleaming towers, Hyatt City of Dreams Manila was created by award-winning architects Asya Design, with interiors by Arlen P. De Guzman Design Associates. It houses 365 modern rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows where guests can recharge and kick back when they are not busy exploring the city.

Ranging in size from 36 to 85 square metres (377 to 915 square feet), the contemporary guestrooms are designed with a focus on efficiency and simplicity. In the living space, guests will find a fully functioning work space with an ergonomic desk chair, a 47 inch LED HDTV with an interactive interface, an iPod docking station, and a safe large enough to accommodate a laptop โ€“ all of which augment the guest experience at the hotel.

Meanwhile, guests staying in any of the 45 Club rooms within Hyatt City of Dreams Manila are welcome to visit the Club Lounge on Level 7 of Tower II. In this tranquil, comfortable space, Club guests can enjoy a host of exclusive, complimentary services including personalized, seated check-in and check-out, breakfast, drinks and light snacks throughout the day, and canapรฉs and pre-dinner cocktails.

โ€œThe whole Hyatt City of Dreams Manila team is excited to open our doors to guests,โ€ said General Manager Stephen Radcliffe. โ€œWe are looking forward to introducing this witty, charming and inviting brand to Southeast. With our comfortable rooms, bustling dining venues, great facilities and access to all that is on offer at City of Dreams Manilaโ€”not to mention the capital itselfโ€”we are confident our guests are going to have a delightful stay with us.โ€

Drinking and Dining
Hyatt City of Dreams Manila features two dining venues where guests can enjoy fresh, authentic local and international cuisine.

Past a circular reception beneath a striking spiral chandelier, The Cafรฉ is the main dining space at Hyatt City of Dreams Manila and offers a range of seating options, from cozy circular booths to private and semi-private rooms to standalone tables in the heart of all the action. Open 24 hours, The Cafรฉ is an interactive show-kitchen restaurant, where live culinary theater is performed by experienced chefs at vibrant cooking and buffet stations, with hot dishes prepared ร  la minute to ensure freshness and optimum flavor. Each of the countersโ€” Italian, Grill and Griddle, Asian, Deli, Comfort Food & Favorites, and Pastry โ€”showcase a different culinary production.

For guests looking for a drink and light snack, the Lounge is a comfortable, stylish spot to meet friends and colleagues, or simply relax and unwind throughout the day. Whether settled into a plush chair or people-watching at the bar, guests can enjoy well-crafted cocktails, premium wine, as well as an international snack and tapas menu in the evening. For those looking to mix business with pleasure, a business center with office services is also available.

Activities
When not enjoying their room, there is plenty for guests to explore at Hyatt City of Dreams Manila. Guests can take a dip in the outdoor lap pool or work out at the Fitness Center, equipped with the latest Life Fitness treadmills, bikes, steppers and weights. Alternatively, they can spruce up for an important meeting or special occasion in the Salon in the capable hands of some of the best hair stylists, make-up artists and nail technicians in the capital.

City of Dreams Manila
The hotel is ideally located within City of Dreams Manila, the pinnacle of entertainment in the Philippines. The focal point at City of Dreams Manila is the Fortune Eggโ€”a golden dome-like structure, accented by dramatic lighting and anticipated to become a gleaming landmark of the Manila Bay area. Within the dome will be two nightclubs by preeminent nightclub operator Michael Van Cleef Ault who has created dozens of clubs in the hottest cities worldwide, including New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Aspen, Sao Paulo, Monte Carlo and London.

For families, DreamPlay is the worldโ€™s first family entertainment center from Hollywood studio DreamWorks Animation, introducing education-based, interactive entertainment inspired by the mantra of learning through play. Spread over 2,400 square metres (25,834 square feet), DreamPlay is an exciting, integrated blend of live and digital play spaces, featuring DreamWorksโ€™ beloved characters and includes a 165-seater cafรฉ; a store; and three themed party rooms.

In addition, City of Dreams Manila houses a ballroom with capacity to seat 500 guests, a multi-level car park, a live performance central lounge, a variety of upscale retailers, and large selections of bars and dining venues ranging from casual eateries to premium fine-dining establishments.

Event Spaces
For event organizers, City of Dreams Manila features a dramatic ballroom available for stylish weddings, gala dinners, product launches and corporate events. Supported by a generously sized pre-function area for breakouts and pre-dinner cocktails, plus a banqueting kitchen equipped for Filipino, Chinese and Western menus, the ballroom can cater up to 500 seated guests.

An events room with the capacity to seat 24 guests is also available for smaller gatherings and company meetings. Both venues are equipped with the latest audio-visual equipment, and a professional team is on hand to ensure every event is a successful and memorable one.
