Passengers from East African destinations Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania will from mid-2015 have yet more Airbus A380 destinations lined up, when the German city of Duesseldorf and the Spanish capital Madrid will see some of the presently-used aircraft upgraded.

The 519 seat aircraft, with 14 First Class Suites and 76 Business Class Flat Bed seats on the upper deck and 429 Economy Class seats on the main deck of Emirates Airlines, will add substantially more capacity to and from the two destinations.

โ€œOur passengers regularly ask their travel agents to make sure they fly out of Dubai on the Airbus A380 which continues to receive great reviews about the service and comfort levels on board. We presently come daily to Entebbe with an Airbus A330 while Nairobi and Dar es Salaam are served twice a day with Airbus A340 and B777 respectively. Because we only operated wide-bodied aircraft, โ€ฆ our passengers have superior inflight experiences compared to other airlines. Our fleet of Airbus A380 is growing fast and allows to add more and more destinations. Dubai last year became the biggest international airport in the world. More than 70 million passengers arrived or connected there. But because Emiratesโ€™ has a dedicated terminal for the Airbus A380, โ€ฆ passengers [can] enjoy easy transfers when they arrive from Entebbe. Our lounges for First Class and Business Class passengers are making the transit in Dubai a great experience and are a big part for our success,โ€ wrote a regular source close to the airlineโ€™s office in Kampala when passing the information.

Duesseldorf flights by A380 will commence on July 1 and Madrid flights by A380 will launch on August 1. Passengers have access to free Wi-Fi on board, an added service for Emirates passengers flying on the worldโ€™s largest passenger aircraft.
