On this charter flight to Nanjing, a Chinese couple was upset because they were not seated together, as the tour group they were a part of had assigned seats in alphabetical order. The flight attendant was very accommodating, however, and provided seats together for the couple. The couple, however, continued to loudly complain.

The Chinese male then said he wanted to blow up the plane, and the woman declared that she wanted to commit suicide. Dinner cutlery was also involved, although details were not available.

Other passengers got involved and subdued the couple as the Captain turned the plane around to return to the airport.
