Yesterday, Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev signed a document containing the amendments to the Law on Tourism and an order regulating their use.

Under the order, the Ministry of Culture & Tourism has kept the authority to accredit tourism companies to which foreigners and stateless persons may apply directly or through official partners to obtain Azerbaijani e-visa.

At that, the e-visa for tourists, according to the amendments, is given in accordance with the provisions of the Migration Code, and for tourist companies it was retained the possibility of participation in their provision.

As a whole, the amendments introduce the right to issue tourist visa for up to 30 days. The grounds for this are the travel voucher or a trip sheet, a passenger ticket, a document about booking a hotel, camping, on a tourist basis or other similar programs, as well as other documents, the Migration Code requires
