Travelers from Emirates’ three East African destinations Entebbe (daily flights), Nairobi (double daily flights), and Dar es Salaam (only recently upped to 12 flights a week) will from March next year have one more additional flight to New York to choose from when flying on Dubai’s award-winning airline to the Big Apple.

Emirates yesterday announced that effective March 8, 2015, another daily flight will be added, based on risen demand from across their network for connections to one of America’s most iconic cities.

The fourth daily nonstop service will leave Dubai every day at 1450 hours local time under flight number EK 207, arriving at JFK on the same day at 2045 hours.

This will allow travelers to arrange for a mini break enroute, leaving the airport on a transit visa, something Emirates offices are able to arrange for, and explore Dubai’s main tourism attractions before flying on to New York, something which the choice of four daily flights permits.

It could not be established which aircraft type the additional service will use, but regardless of using either a Boeing B777 or an Airbus A380, passengers are assured of a three-class configuration onboard and award-winning catering and inflight entertainment.
