Whale watch with guaranteed sightings

MA’ALAEA, Hawaii – You just never know if when you book that whale watching tour if you are really going to see a whale. But what if you were guaranteed to see a whale?

MA’ALAEA, Hawaii – You just never know if when you book that whale watching tour if you are really going to see a whale. But what if you were guaranteed to see a whale? Would that make a difference in whether you book the tour or not?

Starting Monday, November 3, Pacific Whale Foundation will be offering daily whale watch ecotours from Ma’alaea and Lahaina Harbors with guaranteed sightings. If you do not see a whale during your trip, you will receive a “Just a Fluke” pass to go again at no charge on another classic whale watch. Passes are good for one year.

“We are getting an early start to whale season so that our guests can enjoy seeing the humpback whales who migrate to Maui every year as soon as they start arriving,” said John Gaskins, Pacific Whale Foundation Customer Care Manager. “You are guaranteed to witness these wonderful animals in the wild, or you’ll get another trip for free.”

November 3 is the earliest guaranteed-sighting whale watches being offered by any operator on Maui. Throughout November, these special whale watches are offered at an early season rate if booked online.

Pacific Whale Foundation is a nonprofit organization that has been working to protect the oceans through science and advocacy for over 35 years. Proceeds from their ecotours support research, education and conservation programs in Hawai’i and around the world. In addition to whale watching trips, they offer dinner, cocktail and holiday cruises, as well as snorkeling adventures and private charters. All ecotours are led by certified Marine Naturalists with college and advanced degrees in marine science or related field.
