According to the Hawaii Tourism Authority a tropical Storm Watch has been cancelled for both Hawaii County and Maui County.

According to the Hawaii Tourism Authority a tropical Storm Watch has been cancelled for both Hawaii County and Maui County. Kauai County (including Niihau) and the City & County of Honolulu remain under a Tropical Storm Watch. Hurricane Ana is passing south of the Hawaiian Islands and forecast to maintain its current intensity today, then weaken through Tuesday. Bands of heavy rainfall, flash flooding, strong winds, high surf and coastal inundation is expected across the state through Monday.

The Hawaii Tourism Authority (HTA) states: “As the storm nears, we continue to encourage visitors and residents to stay out of the ocean, avoid shorelines and other outdoor activities, and heed all warnings by state and county officials.
