TUI says it will form a low-cost airline with Lufthansa

FRANKFURT — German travel and transport group TUI and airline Lufthansa are working on creating a new low-cost carrier, the TUI Travel subsidiary said on Tuesday.

New low-cost airline from South Africa to Europe

A new low-cost airline will soon be whisking South Africans from Cape Town and Durban to London's Stansted airport, with tickets set to start from just R1999 one-way, excluding taxes.

The airline, to be named Redair, is the brainchild of airline entrepreneur Andy Cluver, who runs local charter company Civair.
