Hotel for business executives opened
The first hotel in Argentina focused exclusively on executives was inaugurated. The amount of money invested to build this hotel was US$10 million. This new project will try to capture an important portion of the market of businessmen who travel to the country.

IHG expands its brands Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express
Intercontinental Hotels Group -IHG- signed an agreement for four new Holiday Inn Express Hotels and for the transformation of an independent Holiday Inn in Brazil, increasing its presence in the country to 12 cities. The new Holiday Inn Express hotels, which will be located in Belem, Cuiaba, Maceio and Manaus, will start operations in 2011. The Holiday Inn Sao Luiz would open at the end of this year.

BoA will fly to Tarija Tarija
Boliviana de AviacioĢn will begin commercial operations to the city of Tarija in late June. There will be four round trip flights per week in the route Tarija-Cochabamba, with immediate connections to La Paz and Santa Cruz, in addition to one direct frequency between Tarija and La Paz.

Sky Airlines started flights
Sky Airline started operations in the route La Paz-Arica-Antofagasta and Santiago three times per week with Boeing 737-200 airplanes, with the intention to expand its national and international operations.

Titicaca is still the favorite in the Seven Natural Wonders of the World contest
The Lake Titicaca continues in first place of the F Group of the contest that will select the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, surpassing competitors like the Niagara Falls and the Danube River. Meanwhile, the Amazon remains in second place of the E Group, surpassed by the National Park of Rio Subterraneo, located in Puerto Princesa in Philippines.

Punoā€™s Tourist routes have new sign posts now
Nine tourist routes of the Puno Region have new sign posts that will enable the national and foreign visitors to obtain information about their characteristics, altitude, among other information. The tourist routes with new sign posts are Masocruz, Chaka Ckaka, La Raya, Lagunillas, Titiri , Macusani, Tilaly, Sandia and the city of Puno.

Emblematic Ayllu Cafe left local
The Ayllu, a cafe considered by the people of the city of Cusco as part of their identity, left definitely the local that had in the Main Square for approximately 40 years.

The first Afro Peruvian Culture Museum is inaugurated
The first National Museum of Afro Peruvian Culture, located in the city of Lima, was inaugurated last week. The main objective is to pay tribute to the work done by the Afro Peruvians in the identity and in the Peruvian culture. Photographs, musical instruments as well as typical dresses and art works of Peruvians of black race can be seen in this Museum.

AeroRepublica increased number of flights.
AeroRepublica will have more flights departing from BogotaĢ to Santa Marta, San AndreĢs, Leticia, Cartagena and PanamaĢ during June, July and August. During the same period, the airline will expand its flights on the routes from Bucaramanga and Cartagena to Panama and San Andres; from Cali, Medellin, Barranquilla and Cartagena.

Quintana Roo, 12 of the 40 hotels closed reopen
At least 12 of the 40 hotels that closed their doors in Quintana Roo due to the fall in tourism as a result of the sanitary emergency brought about by the H1N1 flu, reopened. Eight of the hotels that opened again are located in the Maya Riviera and the other four are located in Cancun.

Ocean By H10 Hotels with new corporate website
The Ocean by H10 hotel chain, that has three resorts in the Caribbean, launched its new corporate website where the search process has been simplified. A clear example is the search word ā€œExperiencesā€ where the type of vacations can be selected: Romantic, Business, Spa; Sports or Family. After that, Ocean By H10 presents a list of services, packs and offers that go according to the selection made. A survey manager has also been included enabling Ocean By H10 to know the clientsā€™ experience and, in this way, improve or strengthen certain services.

RIU opened its first hotel in Mazatlan
The RIU Emerald Bay, the first hotel of the Spanish company opened its doors in Mazatlan, becoming in the resort number 15 that RIU has in this country, and the 30th hotel that the chain has in America. The resort is located in first line in the sea and offers the 24-hour All Inclusive by RIU Service. It has 716 rooms, 4 restaurants, 5 bars, 2 swimming pools and 3 meeting rooms.
