Not all rooms are equal even within the same category at this five-star, Swiss-owned hotel, with some of the "classic" rooms past their prime + in need of a facelift. However, a big standout is the hotel within the hotel concept of the 29 Stamford Crest Suites located on the top floor of the tallest hotel in Asia. Ideal for a quickie break away, these gorgeous suites pack plenty of fab factor, so much that you might not leave your room. The views are amazing + each Stamford Crest Suite is a substantial 70sq meters with iPod docking station, Bose theater sound system, plasma TV over the bath, which is built for two, complimentary in-room beverages, espresso maker, and complimentary breakfast + cocktails in the private lounge. Plus all the usual goodies associated with luxe Asian hotels. Rates tend to drop on weekends, so be sure to check for specials. So pack for a weekend of pampering with someone you like a lot! Tip: remember to load up on the toiletries/soaps as the Stamford Crest Suites are stocked with Bulgari products!
