TSA has airlines asking for full names of passengers

When making airline reservations, passengers are now being asked to enter their full name as it appears on government-issued identification they will be asked to present while traveling.

The “Secure Flight” vetting program change took effect Friday.

The second phase of the program begins Aug. 15 when passengers must enter their birth date and gender when booking flights.
