The new hotel search engine, hotelicopter, announced today that Trip Davis, co-founder and chairman of TRX, has been appointed non-executive chairman of hotelicopter, effective immediately.

Adam Healey, hotelicopter's co-founder and CEO, commented: "We're very excited that Trip has agreed to become our chairman. He is the right person to help move hotelicopter into the next phase of the company's growth. I look forward to working closely with him in the coming months and years as we plan and execute our long-term strategic objectives."

Charles Seilheimer, hotelicopter's co-founder, president and CFO added: "Trip has been on our board since the close of our seed financing round two years ago. His familiarity with our business, knowledge of the travel industry, experience building businesses, and relationships with key companies and individuals, makes him the ideal chairman of our company."

Mr. Davis, 41, said: "It has been a real pleasure working with Adam and Charles over the last two years as we've built this business. I'm very excited about the innovation hotelicopter is bringing to the online travel market, and I look forward to helping the company take full advantage of the opportunities presented to us in the years to come."
