Aerolineas Agentinas and Sky Airline agreed to expand both of them in Chile and Peru
Aerolineas Argentinas signed a commercial agreement with Sky Airline, which will allow it to expand its services to Chile destinations and the south of Peru destinations. Also, Aerolineas Argentinas through Sky will be able to offer destinations from Santiago to trans- Andean, such as ConcepcioĢn, Temuco, CopiapoĢ, Puerto Montt, Antofagasta, Calama, Iquique, Balmaceda, Arica, Punta Arenas and Arequipa in Peru. In addition, the project includes an admission to the e-ticket system, the combined achievement of promotional activities in common markets, technical and commercial cooperation.

Aerolineas Argentinas will increase its frequencies from and to Mar del Plata
Aerolineas Argentinas and Austral will increase their flight frequencies from and to Mar del Plata, going from the current nine flights to the fourteen weekly frequencies. From June 15th, five weekly flights will be added and will be part of gradual expansion plan of the Aerolineas Argentinas and Austral domestic services.

Santiago Park Plaza first certified hotel
Santiago Park Plaza hotel is the only five star hotel in Chile that fulfills the requirements of the International Norm ISO 9001-2000. In this way, it was certified for hotel trade and gastronomy services by prestigious company Bureau Veritas Certification.

Cielos Andinos will open new Ayacucho-Cusco-Ayacucho route
Cielos Andinos will fly Ayacucho-Cusco-Ayacucho route with four weekly frequencies on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and on Sundays. The flight will take one hour.

Rio Sagrado Villas & Spa Hotel opened its doors
Rio Sagrado Villas & Spa Hotel opened its doors in Urubamba, in Valle Sagrado, Cusco. It is located along the Urubamba River on land of 2.5. The new establishment has 21 rooms, all of them with terraces and private gardens, 2 small completely equipped towns and one restaurant as well as Spa with Jacuzzi and sauna.

Implements Mariscal Sucre Tourist Route
Ecuador set in motion the ā€œMariscal Sucre Tourist Routeā€ that comprised attractions, such as the Carondelet palace with the change of the presidential guard, the Historic City Center, the Casa de Sucre Museum, the Cathedral in order to visit Mausoleum of Sucre, la Cima de la Libertad, where the Pichincha battle was fought and then the Carmen Bajo, where Sucreā€™s remains were during 70 years before to be transferred to the Metropolitan Cathedral.

LAN began domestic flights
LAN Ecuador began its operations on the domestic market with seven domestic flights. Quito and Guayaquil are the first destinations covered by the company but, it will soon include other destinations such as the Galapagos Islands.

Santa BaĢrbara resume flights to Europa
From June, Santa Barbara Airlines will operate again to Madrid, Funchal and Tenerife. The frequencies will be five flights per week to Madrid, and two weekly flights to both Funchal and Tenerife.

Promotes Health Tourism
In May, the Secretaries of Tourism and Health of Mexico D.F. have planed to launch a Program for Health Tourism in Mexico City, which will allow them to witness plastic surgery, organ transplant and different kinds of operations more at low prices.

Qatar Airways would arrive in 2010
Qatar Airways announced that one of its plans is to arrive to six American destinations and to South America in 2010. The company was in recent Arabia- South America forum, which was carried out in Doha, where companies of both regions got to join commercial bonds.
