World Travel Market, the premier global event for the travel industry, is expanding its portfolio with the launch of its first mid-year conference.

World Travel Market has chosen the year of its 30th anniversary to launch its first mid-year event cementing its position as the leading event organizer for the travel and tourism industry.

WTM Vision will continue in WTM’s footsteps of offering high-caliber speakers, content, and research to give analysis, statistical assessment, and interpretations to the industry’s senior leaders.

WTM Vision is an annual half-day conference focusing on the global travel market. This year the conference will incorporate a worldwide industry overview, debates on responsible tourism, and a comprehensive review of the UK outbound market.

World Travel Market chairman Fiona Jeffery said: “I am delighted to be launching WTM Vision as the first expansion of the successful World Travel Market event.

“WTM has established itself over the past three decades as the premier global event for the travel industry, delivering ground-breaking research and insight to help travel and tourism sector prosper.

“As we celebrate our 30th anniversary, it’s the right time launch a mid-year conference and use all our expertise and experience to further help the travel industry thrive during these current uncertain economic times.”

The half-day conference, in association with Kingley Event Management, will take place on Thursday, June 4 at 76 Portland Place, London W1.
