SUVA – Tourism Fiji has appointed Nancy Li to represent Fiji in China and raise the country’s tourism profile there, according to Tourism promoting agency’s website Thursday.

SUVA – Tourism Fiji has appointed Nancy Li to represent Fiji in China and raise the country’s tourism profile there, according to Tourism promoting agency’s website Thursday.

Li, who will take up her post on March 23, has 13 years of experience in the tourism industry coupled with a track record of success in marketing developments and sales.

“After six years of living and working in Fiji, Ms Li has acquired extensive local product knowledge and has also established a strong network in Fiji,” Tourism Fiji said.

Her work experience and proficient language skills means she will be very helpful to the local tourism suppliers in driving the numbers out of the China market, said Tourism Fiji.

Fiji has the largest market share of Chinese visitors compared to the neighboring Pacific island countries.
