Angry customers broke into a riot at an airport in Buenos Aires, after learning that their international flights were cancelled for the second day in a row, due to a strike by airline personnel.

The passengers reportedly broke ticket counters and threw objects at Aerolineas Argentinas airline employees.

Baggage handlers and ticket counter workers at Argentina’s main airport have been on strike since Friday, in a battle for higher wages.

The airline cancelled flights and several thousand passengers were stranded, including a woman who was scheduled to fly to Venezuela Friday:

“There’s no one from the company, no one is showing their face or telling us when we’re going to fly. We’re stranded with children and the elderly,” she told an Argentinean TV station.
