Pakistan flag carrier PIA is coming, going, and growing

Starting in March and April of this year, Pakistan International Airline is increasing its Boeing 737-800 routes to the Middle East and is planning on new 737-800 service for its Karachi-Dammam route

Starting in March and April of this year, Pakistan International Airline is increasing its Boeing 737-800 routes to the Middle East and is planning on new 737-800 service for its Karachi-Dammam route to twice weekly onboard an A320. Then on April 1, itโ€™s Multan-Madinah route will increase from one to two flights using a 737-800 rather than an A320.


Pakistan International Airlines, commonly known as PIA, is the national flag carrier of Pakistan. PIA also filed for 737-800 service for its Karachi-Abu Dhabi route via an A320.

On its Lahoreโ€“Bahrainโ€“Dohaโ€“Lahore triangle routing, PIA is adjusting service from 1 to 2 weekly flights onboard an Airbus A320 starting March 28 with flights operating in opposite directions: Lahore-Doha-Bahrain-Lahore, Lahore-Bahrain-Doha-Lahore.
