UK and India anticipate tourism surge with new pact

It is now for the commercial airlines to see when and where the added capacity will be created, so that trade and tourism increases.

Trade and tourism between India and the UK are expected to get a boost, with the signing of the MOU between the two countries.

In 2015, India sent as many as 422,000 visitors to the UK, contributing 433 million pounds to the economy.
