From February to April, six large-scale events will be spotlighting Pop Culture in Brussels. The opportunity for the “geek” public to find their entertainment in 2.0 culture.

Rachid Madrane, responsible for the promotion of Brussels at the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, has been an active supporter of โ€œCulture 2.0โ€ in Brussels since 2016.


โ€œPop culture and urban culture have experienced unprecedented growth in Brussels in the last few years. They reflect the evolution of our society. Our capital must promote them just as well as other more classical cultures. I therefore place great importance on supporting their progress. The promotion of several major events that are taking place in Brussels in the coming months will allow us to really showcase pop cultureโ€, stresses the minister.

visit.brussels has been developing the โ€œ2.0 Culture” theme to diversify tourist options in Brussels. So, early this year, the city launched its new campaign under the title of “Winter is coming to Brussels” to bring Pop Culture front-stage.

Pop culture will be adding its particular spice to Brussels with a number of activities over the next 3 months:
