The extremists claim the killer behind the attack was a soldier of the Islamic State. The news released was confirmed by the Chief Federal Prosecutorโ€™s office.


A manhunt for the perpetrator of yesterdayโ€™s attack is ongoing. Earlier, German prosecutors released the only suspect who had been held, citing insufficient evidence.
