Emergency over Paris: Vueling makes emergency landing in Orly

An Airbus A320-214 operated by Vueling was in trouble on its way from Amsterdam to Barcelona.

An Airbus A320-214 operated by Vueling was in trouble on its way from Amsterdam to Barcelona. Half way and over France, the captain declared an emergency and was able to land the aircraft safely in Paris Orly.

The aircraft left Amsterdam at 7.34 am local time and was supposed to land in Barcelona at 9.23.am

It appears the airliner with Registration number EC-LAA 40 minutes after take off was recorded to rapidly descended from 30,000 feet to 2000 feet before landing at Paris Orly airport


No details are yet known, but it appears the aircraft, crew and passengers are safe. The airline tweeted the emergency was declared due to a technical issue. The airline has another airplane and is expected to take off at 9.35 am from Paris to get passengers to Barcelona.
