Luxury Italian automaker Maserati has partnered with Sotheby’s to celebrate the internationally-renowned auction house’s “Night of Luxury” event, which was held last night in New York City.

Crowds of VIP guests gathered at Sotheby’s York Avenue location to experience first-hand the breathtaking design of Maserati’s newest entry into the premium SUV segment, the Levante. The after-hours cocktail party was organized to celebrate Sotheby’s Winter Auctions of jewels, watches, online-only auctions of memorabilia and fine art, as well as their inaugural “Experiences Auction” with the company IfOnly.

The Levante is the “Maserati of SUVs.” Named after a warm Mediterranean wind that can change from mild to gale force in an instant, the Levante is built on the three key pillars of Maserati’s DNA: design, exclusivity and performance. Fitted with the Q4 AWD system, the Levante can also be equipped with the optional and highly exclusive Zegna Edition pack, combining premium Italian leather with bespoke silk from Ermenegildo Zegna, one of the world’s leading fashion designers. Powered by a 3.0 liter, twin-turbo V6 engine that is available with either 345 horsepower or 424 horsepower as the sporty Levante S, the new SUV embraces its Italian heritage while also remaining distinctly modern.

The Maserati Levante S featured during the “Night of Luxury” event will be on public display at Sotheby’s York Avenue lobby from December 1 until December 16.
