Office of the President & CEO of Etihad Airways invited Minister Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism, Civil Aviation, Ports and Marine, who was on a working visit to Dubai and Abu Dhabi to join him on Sunday afternoon to watch an edition of the Formula 1.

The Yas Marina circuit for the November Formula 1 saw Rosberg win the Drivers World Championship in front of thousands who filled the seats right around the circuit. Etihad Airways had once again invited partners and collaborators to their paddock to watch the race. Vijay Poonoosamy, the Vice President International Affairs.


“I had never been and it was a real pleasure to be present in the Etihad Airways lounge to see the race. Many years ago, I was lucky enough to see a Formula 2 race in Barcelona when Air Seychelles and the Seychelles Tourism Board had a branded in that race. Today I had the chance to network with industry players, make imp as I saw the Formula 1 race at this Yas Marina circuit,” said Minister St.Ange.

“It was interesting to see Nico Rosberg pull off this win after getting so close to his parch during the Pit stop walk about. The atmosphere was great and the contacts made worth being present. I thoroughly enjoyed this afternoon and thank Etihad Airways for this treat” said Minister St.Ange.


Also present at the Etihad Lounge were Roy Kinnear, the CEO of Air Seychelles, the partner airline of Etihad as well as Maja Gedosev from the Commercial side of the airline’s operations.
