Nicaragua and El Salvador: Hit by Hurricane and 7.0 Earthquake make today’s news

Central America is the focus of bad news today. The National Hurricane Center confirmed the eye of a dangerous Hurricane named Otto made landfall on the southern Nicaraguan coast with 110 mph winds.

At the same time USGS reported about a 7.0 earthquake 149 km south-southwest of Puerto El Triunfo in El Salvador.
