Air Canada adjusts Summer 2017 international services, announces new routes

OTTAWA, Canada - Air Canada - the flag carrier and largest airline of Canada, made a number of operational aircraft changes and adjustments on international routes for the Summer 2017 season.

May 31, 2016 - Montreal, Canada – London Heathrow - Boeing 777-300ER replaces A330-300, same as S16.

June 19, 2017 - Montreal, Canada – London Heathrow - Mondays will be served by A330

June 1, 2017 - Toronto, Canada – Copenhagen, Denmark service operates with Boeing 787-8

Summer (June-August) 2017 - Toronto, Canada – London Heathrow operates with 777-300ER, except AC868/859 with 787-9

Toronto, Canada – Paris CDG - Seasonal 2nd daily AC886/887 operates with Boeing 767, replaces previously planned A330-300/777-300ER

September 28, 2016 - Toronto, Canada – Santiago de Chile – Buenos Aires Ezeiza - Boeing 787-8 operating on 2 of 5 weekly

The airline also announced new planned international routes for 2017:

New Air Canada Mainline service:

Montreal – Shanghai Pu Dong 1 daily Boeing 787-8 service

Vancouver – Taipei Taoyuan 1 daily Boeing 787-9 service

Toronto – Mumbai 3 weekly Boeing 787-9 service

New Air Canada rouge service:

Toronto – Berlin Tegel 4 weekly Boeing 767 service.

Vancouver – Nagoya Chubu 3 weekly Boeing 767 service

Montreal – Marseille 3 weekly Boeing 767 service

Montreal – Algiers 4 weekly Boeing 767 service (subject to approval)
