Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture, was received by President Shimon Peres when he was in Israel just about a year ago. Minister St.Ange held a long and intimate conversation with President Peres at the Peres Centre for Peace.
“This morning we were saddened when news broke about the passing of this amazing leader. I was privileged to have had the opportunity to not only meet him, but to be welcomed at his office at the Peres Centre for Peace and to discuss pertinent issues affecting our world of today. This meeting with President Peres marked me, and today a year later, I realized the honor I had to have had quality time with the President,” said Minister Alain St.Ange to the press this morning.
It was during this working visit to Israel by Minister St.Ange that workshops with the travel trade and press meetings with the Israeli press were undertaken and created a breakthrough in tourism traffic from Israel to Seychelles as was stated by Dov Kalmann of HDF Representatives Limited, a marketing, PR and brand promotion company of Israel.
