Tanzania’s Domestic Airline Precision Air has resumed its operations to HAHAYA Comoros today, September 27, 2016. The flight departed from Dar Es Salaam at 10:00 am and arrived in the Comoros at 11:50 am.

Precision Air suspended its flights to HAHAYA earlier in 2014 and announced to resume the flights early in August this year.

Commenting on the resumption Precision Air’s Commercial Director Mr. Robert Owusu said Precision Air is set to offer reliable air services between Tanzania and Comoro that will speed up trade and movement between the two countries.

‘Our flights will operate every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, these frequencies are designed to cater for traders, government officials and leisure travel. Based on the market dynamics we will add more frequency later.’ Mr Owusu added.

‘We are happy to resume the flights as we promised, this is our 13th destination in general and our second regional route. We are looking at creating a network that will enable passengers to connect easily with their travels within East Africa, Africa and worldwide. Already we have the best connection network in place and we will work tirelessly to meet the world travel market demands’ Mr. Owusu explained further.



Precision Air as the only IATA member in Tanzania enables passengers to book through their onward tickets on other international flights. Domestically Precision Air flies to 11 destinations,from its main hub Dar es Salaam Precision Air flies to Arusha, Kilimanjaro, Mwanza, Bukoba, Musoma, Tabora, Kigoma, Mtwara, Zanzibar and Pemba.
