WROCLAW, Poland – Gulf Air, the Kingdom of Bahrain’s national carrier, has launched ‘Manage My Booking’, the new facility from ANIXE, a state-of-the-art internet booking engine supplier, to give clients a more personalized post-booking experience.
In line with ANIXE’s vision, the company’s aim is to provide the travel businesses with customer insights, personalization capabilities and sales power.

The enhanced Gulf Air platform now boosts both, clients and sales power by offering to the passengers wide possibilities to manage every aspect of their reservation online and severly reducing stress on email and callcenter support teams, with a benefit of extra security layer by direct user access. ‘Manage My Booking’ helps to strongly support customer retention and improve the consumer decision journey by making it child’s play to use it and find reservation details’.
‘Manage My Booking’ drives for passengers convenience at every step. No registration is needed to view and print contact or flight details as it all happens through the Passenger Name Record (PNR) and can be easily done anytime and anywhere. In the reservation center travelers can find information about check in and baggage allowance, payment due date for Pay Later (on hold) bookings or download flight details directly into their Outlook Calendar or any other application on an IPhone or Android. The plethora of meal types can satisfy even the most demanding customers. The disabled, visually or hearing impaired can also ask for additional amenities. ‘Manage My Booking’ has been also integrated to Frequent Flyer Program to enable collecting miles easier and faster.
Thanks to the seat selection, travelers can check out before flight their place on the plane. This open solution can be further developed with a seat map to allow booking of a seat in one reservation flow.
The true gem is the ‘Upgrade your flight’ section. It all started with the search for new and innovative ways to offer the comfort of Gulf Air’s Business Class to even more customers. Thanks to the integration to Plus Grade, passengers can now submit their individual bid and decide how much they are willing to pay for an upgrade to Business Class. There is no risk involved when a client submits a bid – if the offer is rejected, no charge is made.
The customer experience has become increasingly more important over the years as more mobile channels are competing for a customer’s attention. The ANIXE solution has been designed with a deeply customized look and feel across all channels, with special focus to mobile users needs (mobile first) to create a truly immersive experience. With ‘Manage My Booking’ passengers can in a split second share the information about where they are flying.
